Source hierarchy
We prefer first-party public sources: Purdue Extension, Indiana DNR, Indiana 811, Indiana law, municipal departments, utilities, and established arboriculture organizations. Commercial sources are not used to invent market averages or performance claims.
How pages are written
Each page is assigned a distinct intent. Service pages define decisions and scope. Area pages explain local operating context. Field notes answer a specific property-owner question and display source links.
Review status
These pages have source and editorial review. They are not represented as reviewed by a certified arborist. A named expert reviewer, review date, and any provider-specific credentials should be added only after that review actually occurs. Until then, site inspection and qualified professional judgment remain separate from this publication.
What we do not publish
- Invented testimonials, job histories, credentials, affiliations, insurance status, or years in business.
- Diagnosis based only on a stock photograph or generic checklist.
- Price promises without a site-specific written estimate.
- Interchangeable city pages created only to repeat a keyword.
